Gaming Charity Outreach Internship (REMOTE)
Objective
As a Student Gaming Charity Outreach Intern, you will play a pivotal role in our organization's efforts to connect with and engage our target audience. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in outreach strategies, communication, and community building. You will work closely with our team to assist in the development and execution of outreach initiatives.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Communication and Engagement: Assist in crafting compelling messages and materials for outreach campaigns. Engage with streamers through various communication channels like email, Discord, and, social media.
Collaboration: Collaborate with team members to develop and implement outreach plans, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Event Coordination: Help plan, coordinate, and participate in charity stream activities. This may include attending streams and representing our organization.
Research and Identify Target Audiences: Research to identify potential streamers and community members who align with our organization's mission and goals.
Qualifications
3.0+ GPA is preferred in HS or college.
Current student at a 2-year college, 4-year university, Masters program, or a High School senior.
Experience with using social media platforms (X, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Discord).
Working knowledge of esports and gaming (preferred).
Understanding of social media, influencers, and charity streams.
Ability to work individually and in a team.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to reach out to streamers and influencers through cold and warm connections.
Demonstrates creativity and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work 5-10 hours per week remotely.
Possesses strong time-management skills with multiple deadlines and tasks.
Must have an in-depth working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite.
Experience with photography and photo editing programs is a plus.
Duties are not limited to the above and additional tasks may be assigned.
Open to international students.
Must be 16 years of age or older.

Commitment
5-10 hours per week remotely.
The duration of the internship is typically one semester, but many interns stay on for longer.
Online meeting times will be coordinated with the Executive Director.
